3D landscape rendering costs and what's included
Photorealistic 3D renderings are the single highest-leverage piece of any landscape project — they're how homeowners decide and how contractors communicate scope. Pricing scales with the number of views, the complexity of the scene, and the turnaround you need.
How much does a 3D landscape rendering cost?+
A single photorealistic 3D view of a residential landscape scene typically runs in the low-to-mid four figures. A full presentation package — multiple day and dusk views, a material board, and an annotated plan — is meaningfully more. Pricing is fixed per package and quoted before any modeling begins.
What's actually included in a rendering package?+
3D modeling of the site (your hardscape, your planting palette, your structures), texture and material assignment, lighting setup for the time of day, the rendered images themselves at presentation resolution, and a defined number of revision rounds. Plan-view callouts and a material board are included in the standard package.
How long does a rendering take to produce?+
Turnaround depends on package and scope, and typically runs about five to fourteen business days from receipt of design and site information. Faster scheduling may be available depending on workload. The project-specific schedule is confirmed in your written proposal.
Do you work with contractors on repeat projects?+
Yes. Contractor design support is a core part of our work, and pricing for visualization packages is published on our visualization pricing page. Scheduling for repeat partners depends on scope and current workload.
Can you render a project we already designed?+
Yes — we render from your design files or from a sketch and site photos. We'll note any design issues we see while modeling (drainage, code clearances, planting conflicts) so the rendering matches what's actually buildable.
Are walk-through videos available?+
Yes, as an add-on to the rendering package. A short animated walk-through is particularly persuasive in a sales presentation when the project is large or the layout is unusual.
